About us
The Hideout is a summer camp for adults who need a break from regular life for a bit.
This group is for people in Berlin who want more playful, low-pressure ways to meet people and spend their weekends differently.
We host one-day pop-ups with camp games, creative activities, music, mystery nights, team challenges, tiny prizes, and the occasional bit of outdoor chaos.
You can come alone or with friends. A lot of people come alone, and we design the events so you are not left awkwardly standing around wondering who to talk to.
This is not a networking group. There are no forced sharing circles and you do not have to be good at anything.
The full Hideout camp returns in summer 2027. Until then, the pop-ups are small ways to step into the world.

Your mission, should you accept it...Laser tag, with some Hideout flare.
For this Side Quest, we’re heading into a neon-lit arena for three rounds of laser tag, questionable strategy, dramatic team loyalty and the discovery that someone who said “I’m not competitive” absolutely is.
There is also one small catch:
Nobody gets to use their real name.
When you arrive, you’ll draw your codename for the mission. Then we’ll sort out teams, get our briefing and head into the arena.
There will be glowing lights, running around in the dark and briefly forgetting that you are an adult with emails to answer.
No laser tag experience required, obviously. Your only job is to show up and commit to the mission.# What to Expect
- 3 rounds of laser tag
- 12 minutes of game time per round
- Your assigned Hideout codename
- Team games and changing strategies
- Equipment + game briefing before we begin
- A little (or big) friendly competition
- A prize for the winning side
- Proof You Were Here
- Optional pizza, snacks and drinks afterward
- Approximately 36 minutes of running around wondering why laser tag is considerably more athletic than you remembered
Real identities may be restored after the final round.
Maybe.## What’s Included
Your ticket includes the full laser tag session, all equipment, three game rounds, our Hideout mission briefing, codename assignment, team shenanigans and a little something for the winners.
You just show up. We’ll assign the identity crisis.# Good to Know
Laser tag is a sport, which is apparently something we should all know before casually agreeing to run around an arena for three rounds.
Wear comfortable clothes and proper shoes you can move in. The venue recommends bringing a spare T-shirt because you may get sweaty, ha!
For this one, black, white or a little neon is encouraged if you want to commit to the aesthetic, but it isn't required. Please arrive on time. The venue begins preparing our group shortly before the session, including player registration and the initial teams, so we need everyone there before the official game time!
After our final round, anyone who wants to keep hanging out can stay for a post-mission pizza/drink and debrief. Food and drinks are optional and ordered and paid for individually at the venue.AGENDA
15:30 – Enter The Grid
Arrival, codename draw, introductions, mission briefing
16:00 – Game on
Equipment briefing + 3 rounds of laser tag
17:00 – Mission complete
Final scores, winners + Proof You Were Here
17:15-ish – Post-mission debrief
Optional pizza, snacks and drinks at the venue
Order and pay individually# The Hideout Rule
Your real name is temporarily classified.
Draw your codename. Accept your fate. Play for your team.
And when you suddenly become wildly competitive over a game involving glowing laser guns (because you will), we saw nothing.***

## Event Description
A messy creative pop-up for adults who miss making things without needing them to be good, useful, or remotely tasteful.
This is not a painting class where everyone sits politely and tries to make something “nice.”
This is color, movement, splashes, layers, questionable choices, accidental genius, and the very specific joy of making a mess on purpose.
We’ll step into a color-filled session where the point is not to paint perfectly. The point is to throw, splash, layer, mess around, and leave with something that proves you did not spend another Saturday just running errands and replying “sorry, just seeing this.”
No art skills needed. In fact, they may get in the way.
It’s playful, low-pressure, and probably not the day to wear your favorite white linen trousers.## What to Expect
- Action painting / messy painting session
- Paint, color, and creative chaos
- Individual or group artwork, depending on final format
- Time for photos, laughing, and admiring the damage
- A take-home piece or shared artwork, depending on the provider
- A relaxed, playful group setting
## What’s Included
Your ticket includes the painting session, materials, protective gear, venue setup, refreshments, cleanup, and a fully hosted Hideout-style creative afternoon.
You just show up. The mess is handled.## Good to Know
- This will be hosted with a specialist color/action painting venue.
- Final details will be shared once the provider is confirmed.
- Wear something you do not mind getting messy.
- Protective gear will be provided, but paint has a personality and sometimes makes its own plans.
15:30 - Step into The Hideout world
Arrival, check-in, color mood, protective gear
16:00 - Make a mess
Paint, splash, layer, and let perfection leave the room
17:45 - Proof You Were Here
Artwork titles, photos, final color mood
18:00 - Official end
Optional drink / snack nearby afterExact location will be shared a week before the event.
## The Hideout Rule
Come ready to make something badly, loudly, weirdly, or accidentally beautifully. Perfection will be gently ignored.
Taste is optional.
