Details
This walk around Whitlingham broad will be focusing on the "Meditations" of Marcus Aurelius. This work presents key Stoic principles that guide us in dealing with life's challenges. Aurelius shares practical wisdom on resilience, virtue and maintaining inner peace. Join us as we explore his insights and their relevance to our everyday lives.
Come prepared to discuss your favourite passages and quotes, and any broader reflections on stoic philosophy.
Distance: 5-10km (depending on whether we do 1 or 2 loops of the broad. Also the potential to extend it slightly beyond via Wherryman’s Way).
We will finish at the cafe! But feel free to bring your own snacks lunch. It will go ahead regardless of weather.
