Sleeping Giant State Park, Hamden, Ct

This will be approximately a 6-mile hike with a little bit of difficulty in the beginning and about 1,100ft in elevation changes during the hike.

We will park by the bathrooms and start on the Voilet trail. Route and length of hike, timewise also, are weather dependent. Please arrive a few minutes early because we plan to start promptly at the time listed.

Be prepared and smart so please include:

• Snacks and water
• Layered clothing
• Proper footwear

Meeting for lunch at “Eli’s on Whitney” restaurant… NOT “Eli’s Brick Oven Pizza”. (optional).

We do ask for a contribution of $3 per hike, or $15 per year to cover meetup.com fees and if any money is leftover it goes towards our annual social event.
