Giuffrida Park - Fun Faster Pace Hike

Join us for a great little hike at Giuffrida Park on the Mattabesett Trail. We will begin at Crescent Lake and head up to Chauncy Peak on the serpentine trail gaining 350 feet of elevation in the first .7 miles! Then traverse the Metacomet ridgeline stopping to enjoy the expansive views from the rocky cliffs along the way. We'll also take a look down at the quarry on the other side for interest. After we descend we will head uphill again to Lamentation Mountain and enjoy more overlooks. Eventually descending and finishing the hike along picturesque Crescent Lake
