The Steep Rock summit, at an elevation of 776 feet, provides a breathtaking view overlooking the Clam Shell section of the Shepaug River Valley. This is a 7 mile hike, rated B+
For anyone interested, we’ll be having lunch after the hike (optional) at Marty’s Café, 4 Green Hill Rd., Washington, CT 06794.
If you RSVP “YES” and can’t make it, PLEASE change your RSVP so the next person on the waitlist can attend.
Please wear hiking footwear, and bring as needed: poles, bug spray, backpack, personal first aid and meds, water and snacks. No pets allowed.
