Join us for a beautiful winter hike as we come together to honor the life, spirit, and friendship of our beloved hiking companion Maryellen Beauregard.
Maryellen had a deep passion for the outdoors, and many of us shared unforgettable adventures, explorations, and laughter with her—both on and off the trails.

About Tymor Park:
Tymor Park is a scenic 500-acre countryside preserve in Dutchess County, known for its peaceful woodlands, rolling hills, and well-marked multi-use trails that showcase the beauty of the Hudson Valley. With its blend of forests, open fields, creeks, and gentle ridgelines, the park offers quiet surroundings, abundant wildlife, and beautifully maintained paths—an ideal setting for a reflective and meaningful winter hike.

Location: Tymor Park
Distance: ~5 miles
Elevation Gain: ~850 ft
Difficulty: Moderate B
Pace: Conversational (2.2–2.5 mph), with several breaks for water, snacks, and rest.

## 🎒 What to Bring

  • At least 2 liters of water
  • Snacks
  • Weather-appropriate layers (avoid cotton to reduce hypothermia risk)
  • Sturdy, waterproof hiking shoes
  • Microspikes (mandatory) — please have them in your backpack; icy or snowy patches are possible this time of year
  • Trekking poles (optional)
  • Any personal items needed for a winter hike

## ❤️ After-Hike Gathering

Following the hike, Sam Elsamman is graciously inviting everyone to his home in Rhinebeck, NY for food, drinks, and a warm space to share stories and memories as we celebrate Maryellen’s life and reflect on how she touched each of us.
This will be a potluck, so please bring a dish or food item to share.
Sam’s address will be shared with confirmed attendees closer to the event date.
