Muddy York, Toronto after 1834 was a not so innocent little town as one might think.

It had its share of death and destruction. arson, murder, plenty of murder, and ghost sightings after these events. Wild stories to tell children around the camp fire. But these stories are true. Join me on a walk around old Toronto, and prepare for the Halloween season just ahead.

Have you heard about the Mad Dog of Jarvis street? Or what happened in the old York Town Hall on a day when William Lyon was about to pull the curtain down on the Family Compact, you could say it got very sticky, very quickly.

And after this you could say that people were hooked on all the stories. You could also say that people got hung up on William. Ok enough fun talk, let's go exploring. A walking tour into the dark heart and secrets of the Toronto we all love so much.

This walking tour is for all levels and walkers. This tour is for children over the age of 12!

The tour begins on the steps of the Yorkville Library on Yorkville Avenue just west of Yonge Street. The tour ends at King Street East, and Church Street.
