This is a Fall Colour Tour!

Etienne Brûlé was believed to be the first European to travel the Humber River, and the Toronto Carrying-Place on a secret mission for Samuel de Champlain.

During the 1660s, the Humber River provided food and building material for the Seneca village of Teiaiagon. With the rise of York to the east in 1793, grist mills were built and provided the material for Toronto's growth well into the 19th century. Many historians consider the Humber River watershed the life blood of Toronto and southern Ontario. The Humber River is an historic river and tells the tale of not only Toronto, but also of Canada itself.

This walking tour is for all fitness levels and skills with a few slight hills and dips. Please dress for the weather.

This walking tour begins at historic Lambton House on Old Dundas Street near the intersection of Dundas Street West. Walk south towards the Humber River, and the house is on the right hand side of the street.
We end the tour at the mouth of the Humber River adjacent to the Humber Streetcar Loop and Palace Pier.

This tour has a ticket price of $15.00 per person!
