A grounded and experiential introduction to nervous system literacy.

Our bodies are always speaking to us.
Shifting between openness, tension, presence, overwhelm, and ease — often without our awareness. Yet these shifts shape so much: how we relate, how we show up, and how connected or distant we feel from ourselves and others.

This gathering is a warm, grounded exploration of the science of feeling safe — inspired by what's been alive for me in my study of polyvagal theory and facilitation practice. Not in a clinical way, but in a deeply human way.

We'll explore what safety means in the body, how our nervous system moves through different states, and simple, down-to-earth ways to support more ease, presence, and steadiness in daily life.

Here's how we'll spend our hour:

  • A gentle arrival
  • An accessible introduction to the autonomic nervous system
  • How we move through different states — connection, activation, and collapse
  • A guided experiential exercise to begin building a relationship with your nervous system

You'll leave with a spark of curiosity — about your own states, your own patterns, the quiet ways your body has been asking for safety all along. And you'll leave with a real starting point: a felt sense of what safety in your body can feel like, and a practice you can return to again and again.

Who this is for
