Emails for the Animals

Details
You don’t want to see animals suffer—so let’s speak up, together.
Whether you’re an animal lover, concerned about where your food comes from, or just curious about how you can help, join us for a casual and friendly afternoon of taking digital actions to push companies toward better animal welfare practices. We're a part of The Humane League, an organization with a decade of successful campaigns that have improved the lives of millions of animals. No activism experience or special diet required—just bring your compassion and a phone or laptop.
Our current campaign is focused on getting Subway and Stop & Shop to finally uphold their cage-free egg commitments. With over 20,000 stores nationwide and only 10% of their eggs currently cage-free, a win would mean a better life for more than two million hens—spared from being confined in cramped, inhumane cages.

THL Seattle is committed to maintaining an inclusive and accessible community. We support people of all races, genders, sexualities, class backgrounds, and abilities in doing activism. You don’t even have to be vegetarian or vegan to participate in our activism - in fact, non-vegan folks may even be better activists in some circumstances.
Our action meetups are hosted at Distant Worlds Coffeehouse:
- The space is wheelchair accessible
- The space is located a few blocks from the Roosevelt Link station
- You do not have to buy food or drink to participate in the meetup - Distant Worlds Coffeehouse requires a minimum for the table reservation, which is covered by the organization.
- There is always an option to attend the meetup virtually
If you need any particular accommodations, please reach out to Zachary Segall over Facebook or at zsegall@changemaker.thehumaneleague.org
