## About Gary Schwartz

Gary Schwartz is a TV and film actor, director, master improv coach, and author. He began performing professionally at age 13 as a mime, touring the Hudson River with Pete Seeger and leading folk artists of the 1960s.
His screen work includes numerous film and TV roles, including the Oscar‑winning Quest for Fire.
As a voice actor, he’s known for iconic video‑game characters such as the Heavy Weapons Guy and Demoman (Team Fortress 2), Langus Tuno (Star Wars: The Old Republic), and Lich, Sniper, Pugna, and Shadow Shaman (Dota 2).
He co-starred in and wrote for two children’s TV series—Zoobilee Zoo (Bravo Fox) and Disney Channel’s You and Me, Kid.
Gary was the protégé of Viola Spolin, creator of Theater Games, and is dedicated to carrying her work forward with clarity, integrity, and play.
His award‑winning middle‑grade novel The King of Average earned two gold medals from Children’s Literary Classics and appeared on “Best Of” lists from Kirkus Reviews and Indie Reader.
