First Gathering of the Brooklyn Short Story Book Club

Welcome readers! I read somewhere that men only make up about 20% of fiction readers, so I decided to make a book club, but everyone is welcome! What sets us apart is we will read short stories, so that we actually read them. Starting out with science fixtion becaus that is what I am most familiar with and it opens up a lot of potential discussions.

The first story we will read is The Veldt by Ray Bradbury. I will try to post a pdf of the story here but it’s easy to find online or it is in The Illustrated Man collection of stories.

We will meet at Sound and Fury Brewery at 7:00 on September 2.
