The Embodied Emotions Series
Episode 4: Shame: From Hidden to Held
Shame is the emotion that makes us shrink, hide, or disconnect — not because something is wrong with us, but because something inside us longs to be protected.
This is the fourth gathering of The Embodied Emotions Series, a journey to meet our feelings through the body, one emotion at a time.
In this session, we’ll explore shame not as a flaw, but as a quiet messenger of tenderness, boundaries, and unmet needs. When seen through the body, shame becomes softer. When held with compassion, it becomes human.
Together, we’ll explore:
• Where shame lives in the body and how it shows up
• The difference between collapsing into shame vs. meeting it with presence
• How to create inner safety when shame arises
• How shame can transform into self-acceptance, gentleness, and clarity
You’ll be guided through somatic practices like grounding, supportive touch, and gentle breathwork, followed by reflection and integration.
A space to meet the parts of yourself that usually hide — and hold them with care.
What to bring
• A quiet, private space
• A journal and pen
• Comfortable clothes
• A blanket or something soft for supportive grounding
💫 Energy exchange: €8
Your contribution helps me hold and grow this space with presence and care.
