Please read the full group description before RSVPing to any event.
We all face questions that don't have easy answers: career decisions, relationships, parenting, purpose, change, and uncertainty.
The Inquiry Club is for people who value thinking and doing equally, who believe understanding is built through active and sustained participation in life, and who remain curious throughout their lives.
Together, we practice examining questions by reviewing our observations, challenging our assumptions, making our reasoning visible, and learning from one another's experiences.
The goal is not to provide answers or tell people what to think. The goal is to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves, others, and the world around usāand to participate in life more fully as a result.
Each gathering begins with an observation, experience, or question drawn from real life. Together, we examine assumptions, explore perspectives, share observations, and consider experiments that may help us better understand the question at hand.
Our approach is simple:
⢠Stay curious ā and be comfortable saying, "I don't know."
⢠Ask better questions.
⢠Share observations before conclusions.
⢠Make your reasoning visible.
⢠Challenge assumptions, including your own.
⢠Examine evidence.
⢠Think independently.
⢠Test ideas in real life.
⢠Return and share what you learned.
You do not need expertise to participate. You only need an open mind, intellectual honesty, and a willingness to contribute.
The goal is not to arrive at perfect answers. The goal is to develop a better understanding of reality and participate in life more fully.
If you enjoy learning, observing, experimenting, and discovering new ways of seeing, you will fit right in.
Bring a question. Leave with a broader perspective.
### Attendance & Community Expectations
A Curated, Focused Inquiry Experience The Inquiry Club is designed to offer more than a casual discussion or social gathering. Each meetup is intentionally researched and organized around a focused real-life question, case study, or conceptual lens. Participants are invited to ask questions, offer examples, share observations, examine assumptions, and learn from one anotherās experiences.
Some events include a nominal registration fee. The fee supports the preparation, while encouraging members to treat their RSVP and participation as genuine commitments.
A reminder will be sent before each event. If your plans change, please update your RSVP so another member may attend. Members who miss an event without updating their RSVP or contacting the organizer will be removed from the group after one no-show. Emergencies happenācommunication is all we ask.
The Inquiry Club values quality of participation over size of attendance.
We expect this community to grow slowly. The goal is not to build the largest group, but a community of inquisitive, accountable people who respect one another's time and are willing to think, participate, and learn together.
