How to Win When Life Gets Hard
Details
Everyone goes through hard times, when the things we want or need feel impossible to achieve, or when we feel burdened by more responsibilities than we feel that we can handle. But what we do in these periods can often determine the course of our lives. With the right understanding, we can learn to strengthen our internal BEING to remain strong, centered and calm when things feel overwhelming.
Hermetic teachings tell us that there are many different “I’s” inside of each of us -- not only one--, each with their own desires and points of view. Unchecked, our many "I's" can lead us all over the place with no rhyme or reason, and they can lead us to make all types of decisions, which can often be contradictory to what we may really want.
One "I" says we are ready to face a particular challenge, but when it gets hard, another "I" takes over and tells us to give up, gets depressed, or blames someone else for the results.
What if there was a way that we could develop one central “I”, that allowed us to steer our lives in the direction that we want? What if this central "I" could be strong enough to guide us through the stormy hard times, remaining in peace and internal harmony, no matter what happens? What if this is what it means to be really free?
