Scottish Wines - or, at least, with a 'Scottish ' connection!
Details
Scottish connections for wine? Well, yes, of course!
This is not about wines that are grown in Scotland, but wines that do have some connection to this country. Perhaps they are made from grapes grown in Elgin (South Africa) or in Rutherglen (Australia). Perhaps produced by a Scot abroad. We will find out on the night...
David Prow, of local company Alexander Wines, will lead us through a selection of these perhaps tenuous connections to Scotland, as a relatively light-hearted circumnavigation of the globe for our last tasting before the Christmas break.
The tasting will be accompanied by some light bites produced by various members of the Institute, to give an additional lead in to the imminent festive season.
Last month's Glasgow attendance was fully subscribed. So, get your place booked, quickly. Otherwise, you will not get a seat!
Come along, tonight, for a celebration of the Scottish diaspora, and to ease yourself in to the Christmas (and other festivities) season. You know you want to!
