Day 1 • Berry Glen Trail → Lady Bird Johnson Grove
6.5 miles • 1,100 ft elevation gain
Our adventure begins with a rewarding climb through magnificent old-growth redwoods to the renowned Lady Bird Johnson Grove. Towering trees, lush ferns, and peaceful forest trails provide the perfect introduction to California's ancient redwood forests. This trail is about 41/2 hours from Santa Rosa. That is why we have the late start time.
