Dragon boating is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world! it is a team sport in its purest form, and encompasses the elements of power, speed, synchronization, fitness and endurance. The Island City Dragon Boat Club has formed a Women's RACE Team, and we encourage you to consider becoming a member. Our primary focus is to train hard as a team, and be competitive. Our mission is to compete in as many races as possible during the season. We are asking anyone interested to contact the captain or the club organizer for more information and to reserve a place in the boat. This will be a Women's Race Team only for now. Women 18 and older who have an athletic and competitive mindset are welcome to join us at Race Team practice! Come and train to become a serious Dragon Boater and join our racing team! No Experience Necessary. Our club does not discriminate based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, national/ethnic origin, or political beliefs.
