A Fireside Chat With Itai Tsiddon - Co-Founder of Lightricks

The evening will feature a Fireside Chat with Itai Tsiddon, Co-Founder of Jerusalem based Lightricks, creator of two of the world's most popular and high powered photo editing apps, Facetune (https://goo.gl/EQmLWq) and Enlight (https://goo.gl/Phfiov). Lightricks' 11+ million photo apps sold, across more than 120 countries, is a testament to both the remarkable technology they've developed, as well as their marketing prowess, In fact, Lightricks has been recognized by Facebook as one of the most sophisticated marketers on the Facebook platform.

We'll talk with Itai about the evolution of Lightricks from it's beginnings at Hebrew University to the powerhouse it is today. We'll talk about how the company self funded itself for the first several years before raising $10 million from Carmel Ventures in 2015. We'll also talk with Itai about the Israel tech ecosystem, moving to New York, and building a successful global company. We'll finish the Fireside Chat with questions from the audience.

After the chat, we'll learn about UJA's work in Israel, and we'll be left with plenty of time for refreshments and networking.
