The Jane Austen Book Club of PDX

A book club for fun, intelligent lovers of great literature ... and Jane Austen in particular! We meet once a month throughout the greater metro area to discuss a well-written work of adult fiction, either classic or contemporary. For those who want to form great friendships and join in engaging conversations.

When: We meet the second Sunday of each month at 2pm.

Where: We meet in our homes and local parks throughout the greater metro area, from Tigard to Forest Grove to Vancouver.

Expectations: We ask that everyone attend as often as possible, but at least 6 times a year. Most members, as they are able, contribute $15 annually to offset Meetup costs. It is helpful if you can host or provide discussion questions once a year.

Waiting List: We keep the club limited to 20 members to maintain a close group of friends who meet regularly. However, we are always looking for great new members! If you would like to be on the waiting list, please click the join button and answer the handful of literary themed questions. Be sure to check back in the summer months to your meetup messages as that is when I typically reach out to people on the waiting list and add new members.
