Experience the Renaissance in Washington Heights. We'll enter the Medieval world of the Cloisters and photograph inside and outside this architectural wonder filled with unicorn tapestries and art from the Middle Ages. From the Cloisters perched atop Fort Tryon Park, we'll have views of the Fall folliage and the Hudson from one of the highest points in Manhattan.

Only 30 minutes from midtown, take the A train to W 190 St and exit by taking the elevator to the upper level. ( Exit the station via the elevator, not the street). From the upper level, follow the signs - it's a short 10 minute walk to the Cloisters.

Please allow extra time for weekend subway disruptions. Entry is "pay as you wish" for NY residents. We'll meet at the entrance to the Cloisters at 1 PM and wait until 1:15PM before entering. Try to arrive on time but since the area isn't very big, it will be easy to find the group.

And don't forget to post your photos to our group monthly album and join us for the online photo-critique on Nov 29 so we can share our work.

No rules, requirements or contests. We're not competing against each other, just inspiring and learning from each other. All levels are welcome. Connect with like-minded people and spark your joy of photography.
