Paddle South Fork St. Lucie River

We will be paddling 3-4 hours on this beautiful stream near Stuart, upstream and back down. It becomes increasingly scenic and narrow as you paddle. We'll stop at a remote picnic site halfway through and then paddle back to the starting point. Bring drink and food as you desire. This trip is suitable for beginners with the stamina to paddle for three hours. Paddleboards are OK here. No rentals available.
Launch at 10 am from Hosford Park 7474 SW Gaines Ave., Stuart, FL. From I-95 go east on Kanner Highway (State Road 76) to SE Cove Road (second light) and take a right, then another quick right onto SW Gaines Ave. Watch for the park on your right.
This group has a $10 per year voluntary dues program to cover the annual Meetup organizer's fee. Organizer Ron Haines, the host for this paddle, will happily accept your contributions at this event.
