Details

(NOTE: This event was formerly intended to launch at the Richard E. Becker Preserve. Because of a locked gate there, we will instead paddle a different portion of Ten Mile Creek and use the Ten Mile Creek Preserve as our launch.)

A leisurely, out-and-back paddle of around six miles on Ten Mile Creek (St. Lucie River). Put in at Ten Mile Creek Preserve, 3401 Gordy Rd, Fort Pierce. Launch at 10 am. We will go upstream (west) and then return to the launch. We will likely go no further upstream than 3.2 miles to the second bridge (Route 712B).

MUSTS: PFD on and fully fastened, ten feet of light rope.
Late cancels and if running late, call or text to 561 315-0528.
Leader is Ron Haines.

This group has a $10 per year voluntary dues program to cover the annual Meetup organizer's fee. Organizer Ron Haines, the host for this paddle, will happily accept your contributions at this event.
