What we’re about
About Us
Welcome to the Karamazov Circle,a space for thoughtful readers who want more than just small talk. We explore life’s big questions through great works of classical literature and philosophy, from Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy to Nietzsche, Plato, Camus, and more.
Our Goal
To create a welcoming, intellectually curious community where we can dive into deep, meaningful discussions. We aim to engage with timeless ideas and challenge each other to think critically, compassionately, and philosophically.
Who Should Join
This group is for anyone who enjoys reading and reflecting on classic texts with philosophical depth. Whether you’re new to philosophy or already well-read, if you love discussing the big themes, like morality, free will, suffering, justice, or the soul, you’ll fit right in.
What We Do
We meet regularly to discuss a selected book or reading. Each event includes a guided discussion, open conversation, and sometimes curated prompts or guest-led sessions. Books may be assigned in parts to keep reading manageable. Expect lively, respectful dialogue in a relaxed setting.
Come for the literature. Stay for the ideas.
