The Kayak Clean Up Crew

With the influx of people moving to Austin and the increased traffic to all of our public park spaces, the trash buildup along our beloved Lady Bird Lake and hike-and-bike trail has increased to never seen before levels. As a small business that resides on Lady Bird Lake, we must do our part in reducing waste and cleaning up trash.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Help us clean up Lady Bird Lake and have fun while doing it! Volunteers will get a free one-hour boat rental, a trash bag, gloves, and grabbers (you must sign up via our meet-up group to attend as each meet up group does have limited capacity).

Upon your return, a Rowing Dock team member will weigh your trash bag, snap a pic and add it to our roster. We’re excited to share that we’ve teamed up with Easy Tiger this year to offer volunteers a delicious surprise: for every participant who cleans up the lake, we’ll provide a pretzel token that can be redeemed at either Easy Tiger location on a future date!
