A Maasai Adventure: Hike to the Top of Mount Olesekut
Details
Mount Olesekut is a moderately difficult day hike located in the South Rift Valley of Kenya. The hike starts in the lowlands of Ole Sayeti and climbs up through the Oloroka ridges, offering stunning views of the surrounding area, including the Ngong Hills and Mount Olorgesailie. The hike takes about 5-6 hours to complete and is a great way to experience the Maasai country and get some exercise.
As you climb, the views of the surrounding area become increasingly spectacular. In the distance, you can see the Ngong Hills, Mount Olorgesailie and on a clear day, you can even see Mount Kilimanjaro.
