What we’re about
Want to move your body in a gentle, welcoming space?
The Kind Body Club is a monthly gathering to explore movement in a supportive way. Each month, we try a different activity to help us feel grounded, connect with others, and rediscover joy in moving our bodies, especially if that connection has felt lost in the past.
Join us for our first gathering 🎉
đź“… Tuesday 3 September
đź•• Arrive from 6:00 - 6:15 pm, ready to kick-off by 6:15 pm!
📍 Shoreline Porty Studio
đź’Ś Hosted by Lily & Mikaila
We’ll begin with a beginner-friendly, reflective yoga class, followed by time for personal reflection, journaling, and a group share. If the weather’s kind (fingers crossed), we’ll end with a fire on the beach. The official event wraps up at 7:45 pm, but if we're down on the beach we’ll stick around until around 8:30. No pressure, you’re welcome to leave anytime after 7:45pm. 🙂
Evening flow
- Welcome and introductions
- Gentle yoga session
- Personal reflections and journaling
- Group discussion (& beach fire, weather permitting)
- Closing & goodbyes
Who it’s for
The Kind Body Club is for people who:
- Feel disconnected from their bodies, whether through disordered eating, body image struggles, or the general noise of life
- Want to try new ways of moving and are open to a little supportive adventure
- Crave community, reflection, and connection in a space that prioritises kindness over performance
Who it’s not for
This may not be the right fit if you:
- Are looking for a space centred on fitness, performance, or aesthetic-based goals
- Want to discuss body changes, diets, or appearance-focused topics
- Need structured or clinical eating disorder recovery support (this is not a therapy space)
- Prefer environments with strict outcomes, metrics, or hierarchies, we’re intentionally informal and values-led
You’ll leave with:
- The beginning (or continuation) of a kinder relationship with your body
- Tools and prompts for reflection and journaling for your at-home use
- A new way of thinking about movement that’s joyful, spacious, and not about appearance
If you’re looking for a non-judgemental space to move, reflect, and reconnect to your body, we’d love for you to join us. If you have any questions or want to check if The Kind Body Club is right for you, reach out, we’re very happy to chat!
