Liverpool Laid Back Writing: June 2025

The June 2025 Liverpool Laid-Back Writers Meetup will be on Sunday 8th June at Midday - upstairs at the Ship and Mitre in Liverpool City Centre.

Join us upstairs at midday (please hang on in the downstairs bar until 12.00...) to discuss what you have currently been writing - and do send me your work in advance (see below).

Please message me via Meetup with a link to short (max 1,500 word) excerpt of your writing by SUNDAY 1st June.

I will then send a message out to those attending, with links so that we have time to read it before the meetup itself.

I'd suggest sending me a Meetup message with a view-only Google documents link (docs.google.com) or a Hermit link (gethermit.com) set to be shared so that I can do this.

This month's writing prompt, for anyone who would like one: "An exceptional display."

Of course feel free to ignore the prompt and just send in an excerpt of whatever you are currently writing!

Please do bring £2 if you are able, to help me cover meetup fees.

As ever, please do RSVP if you intend to come, and un-RSVP in good time if you later realise that that you can't make it.
