A live one-hour French class on Zoom for complete beginners. Start a chat at a café or bar, pay a nice compliment, ask someone for a drink, and say yes or no gracefully in French.

In the hour, you'll learn to:

• Invite someone for a drink, a coffee or a dance
• Start a conversation at a café or bar and ask the first few questions
• Say yes, say a polite no, and take a no gracefully
• Give warm, natural compliments and avoid the embarrassing false friends
• Swap numbers or Instagram, and handle the bise

Each phrase comes with how to say it and when to use it. Near the end you try it out loud in a breakout room of 2 or 3, and you keep a phrase sheet with a week of practice ideas.

At most 12 people. Camera optional, nothing recorded, so feel free to get things wrong.
