Hey everyone!
Let's start 2026 with a ride of the series "Pedals & Petals".
Join us this Sunday for a group ride from Army Plaza Square up through Manhattan and back to Brooklyn for food, drinks, and good company. This ride isn’t about speed or distance — it’s all about enjoying the ride together and taking in the city along the way.
Route overview:
We’ll roll out from Army Plaza Square, ride north to Sakura Park, continue through Morningside Park, Central Park, and along the East River Greenway, then cross back over the Manhattan Bridge.
From there, we’ll cruise through Brooklyn Bridge Park along the waterfront before finishing at Strong Rope Brewery, where we’ll relax with food, drinks, and a great view of the Bay.
If it’s easier, you’re welcome to join the ride in Manhattan — just comment on the event so we can plan a meetup point along the route.
All types of bikes are welcome including e-bikes, and CitiBikes.
Please note that we’ll be sharing lanes with cars in a few sections, so stay alert and follow traffic rules. Bring water, snacks, bike lights, helmet, and a lock to secure your bike at the brewery
The ride will be canceled in case of inclement weather (check for updates here by Sunday morning at 7AM).
