After a great first event, Launch Yourself: Open Mic returns with Version 2.0.

This Connect & Expand evening for Launch Community members is all about creativity, curiosity, and gently stepping outside our comfort zones in a supportive environment.

This isn’t a typical open mic where you need to be polished or professional. It’s simply a space to try something you’ve been curious about, share something meaningful, or express yourself in front of a friendly audience.

You might:
• Read a favourite poem
• Tell a story from your life
• Try stand-up comedy
• Perform a monologue
• Sing a song
• Dance, rap, or play music
• Share a life lesson
• Show a hidden talent (or one you're still discovering)

Or just come along as part of the audience to support others, laugh together, and enjoy the performances.

How the evening will flow
We’ll begin at 7:00 PM with a short welcome, followed by a fun icebreaker activity to help everyone meet and warm up. After that, the open mic begins, where participants can come up one by one to share something creative, with performances kept to around 3–5 minutes so more people get a chance. We’ll close the evening by celebrating everyone who shared and participated.

If you'd like to perform
Please mention it when you RSVP, and let us know if you need any specific equipment or props.

If you can, bring some food or snacks to share to help create a warm, communal atmosphere.

Launch Community events are about connection, curiosity, and trying new things with people we might not normally meet.

Come ready to cheer people on, have fun, and maybe surprise yourself. ✨
