What we’re about
This group was originally created for the writer-orientated coffee house I built in my mum's old laundrette - hence the name. I invited other writers like myself to join me and write alongside me. As life changed, I moved on from the launderette and I have transferred my groups online.
The business is still there and still serves coffee. However, I now invite the the writers, artists, and thinkers meet virtually, keeping that same warmth, focus, and sense of togetherness alive.
Whether you write, draw, journal, design, or simply love creating — this space is for you.
Our online gatherings carry the same spirit that began in the laundrette: a belief that creativity thrives in company. When we sit together — even virtually — we show up for ourselves, our craft, and one another.
Each week, I host live writing and co-working sessions designed to help you:
- Focus – carve out time for your creative practice.
- Connect – meet others who understand the ups and downs of the creative life.
- Grow – find encouragement, share progress, and explore new ways to express yourself.
Every so often, I also run journaling for wellbeing workshops — gentle, reflective sessions to reconnect you with your inner voice and remind you why you started creating in the first place.
