The coffee house, where the workshops will take place, is within a laundrette. Previously owned by a family, it has been changed into a homely and welcoming environment. This environment still serves as a Coffee House and our in-person events still run there and will continue doing so.

These sessions are self-run. This space is reserved for writers. With or without the event manager the space is filled with other writers, all writing.

Once you book it, just turn up and write!

These sessions are set up to create accountability and as writing is such a solo endeavour it is an opportunity to meet others with similar goals.
This writing workshop has been created to encourage writers of all levels.

Writing workshops have been great opportunities for writers to spend concentrated time on the pieces. We do not run feedback sessions but these groups create the opportunity for writers to share their work with others in a social environment. It can take away the loneliness out of writing and create a fantastic opportunity to meet other writers. Not to mention the contagious effects of writing in silence alongside others.

The structure of the session will consist of a short greeting, followed by writing in silence. At the end of the 2 hours, writers stop and socialise.

This is an opportunity for you to write. I hope you enjoy it and get lots of writing done.

When there, please be considerate of proprietors and do buy food and drinks, as they do not make any financial gain off these groups, unless those visiting show support.

The coffee is roasted onsite, so you are lucky, you get to write alongside the smell of roasting coffee.

Enjoy,
Sinem
