About us

We started this group because we kept running into the same questions over and over again when we first got into 3D printing. There's a lot of information out there, but it can feel scattered and overwhelming. We wanted to create a space where people could ask those beginner questions without feeling judged, share what they're learning, and just talk shop with other folks who are figuring this stuff out too.

Whether you're thinking about buying your first printer, struggling with your first prints, or just curious about how all this works, this is the place for you. We cover the basics—what printers are good for different budgets, how to dial in your settings, troubleshooting common problems, material selection, that kind of thing. We're not here to be experts lecturing from on high; most of us are still learning ourselves. We just like hanging out with people who are interested in building things with 3D printers.

Our meetups are casual. Bring your questions, your failed prints, your successes, or just come listen. If you've got experience with 3D printing and want to help newer folks get started, we'd love to have you too. The community works best when we're all learning from each other.
