We’re heading out for a steady 8.7-mile loop with a modest elevation gain that builds gradually over the entire hike. This is a great endurance-building trail without intense climbs, but it is still a longer mileage day — so come prepared.
We’ll hike at a moderate, supportive pace and plan to stop for a picnic around the midpoint of the trail. Bring something easy to pack and enjoy.
☀️ It’s warming up — please plan accordingly:
• Plenty of water (more than you think you need)
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, layers)
• Proper footwear
• Snacks + picnic item
This is a beautiful time of year to get miles in before the real desert heat sets in.
