Algorithms with Cards

Learn the basics of two fundamental concepts in computer science -- algorithms and abstraction -- using playing cards.

This class is designed for people who are interested in a gentle introduction to sorting and searching algorithms, with a particular focus on giving middle and high school Computer science teachers ideas for teaching their students.

Participants should have a deck of cards handy to participate in the lesson. After the lesson we will have an extended session for educators to talk about how to package the lesson for students.
