Robot Riot Test Track: Programming, 3d Printing and ROBOTS

Details

After weeks of testing and trials, the designs for the Robot Riot games is nearly complete, but we need a few more test subjects.

In this session we will start ( 2:00 ) by learning to program the robots and how to design 3D printable gadgets to attach to them.

At 3:30, we'll hit the test track to drive the robots and test some of our designs.

Younger students can drive the robots and learn some basic programming, while older students can get into the details of the communication protocols and control systems. No experience is necessary, but we'd love to have the expertise of a few ace programmers. Advanced students will learn how to program and tune the racing robots for peak performance.

We will be using our Micro:bit Cutebot robots and Joysticks to run robot races and play ball collection games, to try out the new classes and competitions that we are developing. We're hoping that students can tell us what is fun, and maybe invent a few new games of their own.
