About us
The Ley Network is a biweekly gathering in Amsterdam for people who enjoy philosophy, history, consciousness, ancient civilizations, and alternative perspectives.
If you rarely find people to talk about these things with, this is the place. Good conversations with people who like to discuss the story behind the story and go deep into subjects, combined with a genuine exchange of knowledge among members.
We end each session with a short round where people share what they know or what they are looking for, like skills, perspectives, contacts, and recommendations. A genuine grid for powerful connections.
We are not experts, just people willing to think out loud together.
Community guidelines
A few things that keep this group worth coming back to:
Respect different views. You don't have to agree, but dismissing someone's perspective shuts the conversation down for everyone.
No harassment of any kind in person, in the chat, or in messages. Anyone who makes another member feel unsafe will be removed from the group immediately.
Speak from your own experience. "I think" and "in my view" go a long way. Avoid speaking for others or declaring universal truths.
Keep an open mind. The best sessions happen when people arrive curious rather than certain.
What's shared in the room stays in the room. Personal stories or opinions expressed during a gathering are not for sharing outside the group.
No selling or recruiting. This is a space for ideas. Keep it that way.
If you RSVP, please show up or cancel in advance. It helps with planning and respects everyone's time.
