Kiss the Summer HELLO - Volleyball & BBQ Bash!

Details
Join LOA and all your friends for a beginning of summer super party! We're going to be playing a lot of sand volleyball (all levels welcome) and will have other fun games like corn hole, spike ball, ladder ball, Ultimate Frisbee, soccer, likely cricket, and some water cannons to stay cool with, etc! Feel free to bring anything additional that you might enjoy, or that others might enjoy.
Events Hosts: Ryan is the primary host for this one, handling all logistics and planning, etc. Yravis and Tim will be helping with VB, and Cass is my partner for the Columbia River voyage to Pteradactyl Island, and backing us up as needed with awesomeness. Ryan and Juno will be there making sure we all having good times with their chill vibes, reminding us all to stay chill. Let Ryan know if you have any questions along the way.
Other awesomeness:
Bring your SUP, kayak, or fun floaty so you can dip in the river and cool off. Keep in mind that the water might be COLD, it's a gamble in June in Oregon. Usually around 2 or 3pm some of us choose to paddle across the Columbia River over to the Oregon side to check out the Pterodactyl nests on Pterodactyl Island, and the multitude of mini clams. You're welcome to join us, and I strongly advise wearing a life vest if you choose to partake in this mini adventure.
We'll be providing a Taco Bar and Burgers that everyone is welcome to feast on throughout the day. Obviously, the cost of that is entirely on us hosts, so if you'd like to help contribute to that, totally optional, then either give cash to Ryan at the event, or Cashapp him at $RJFreedman.
We'll also be grillin' and will have essential grill items - and you're always welcome to share. Bring your cooler and a potluck item if you'd like, or just bring your appetite, all is good.
We'll have a couple of Bluetooth speakers for music, but feel free to hook up your own and play your favorite tunes at the Pavilion or on the sand courts.
You don't have to stay for the entire event, just let us know when you plan to arrive and leave in the comments to help us with planning, but if you wanna kick it all day then great, please do - let's start summer out with a bang!
Boring stuff that's important:
Parking is $3/vehicle - cash or card will work. Parking fills up so the earlier you can get there the easier that'll be. If/when the parking lots fill up, you can park along the street on NW Lower River Rd, but you'll have a decent walk from there to meetup with us so just keep that in mind.
Bring plenty of water and sunscreen so you can stay hydrated and safe while you play in the sun.
Swimming is not recommended at Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park because of steep drop-offs and swift currents in the Columbia River. There will be no lifeguards on duty.
