Anchorage Shadows in Motion Workshop

We are gathering at the studio for our next Anchorage Shadows in Motion Workshop, and I would love for you to join us. This session is designed for anyone interested in the technical and creative side of shadow puppetry, whether you have been practicing for years or are just curious about how to manipulate light and movement to tell a story. We will spend the afternoon experimenting with different light sources, exploring how to create depth on a screen, and sharing some of our favorite techniques for building puppets that move with life.

This is a relaxed, hands-on session where we can learn from each other and work through our current projects in a collaborative space. Please bring any puppets you are currently developing, or just show up ready to experiment with the materials we will have on hand. It is always great to see what everyone is working on and to share ideas in person. If you think you can make it, please let me know by clicking the RSVP button so I can make sure we have enough supplies and workspace for everyone.
