The Lighting Playground: Beginner Edition
New to photography? Or maybe you’ve been shooting for a bit but lighting still feels like a mystery? This one’s for you.
The Beginner Edition is a smaller, slower paced version of The Lighting Playground built for people who are just getting started. No pressure, no gear flexing, no question too basic. I’m keeping the group small on purpose so everyone gets real time behind the camera and real time with me.

*The fee exists to provide quality models. With this fee we cover models, any makeup and studio fees

Here’s how it works
We’ll start with a teaching session where I break down the fundamentals of light in plain English. What light is actually doing, how to shape it, where to put it, and why it matters for your photos.
Then we move into a live demo with one model and one light. I’ll walk you through exactly how I build the setup, what I’m looking for, and how small changes make a big difference.
After that, it’s your turn. Everyone gets a chance to step in, take their shots, and put what they just learned into practice while I’m right there to help you dial it in.
