The Liminal Space

A group for like minded individuals who embrace neurodivergence and rotating hobbies. Those who appreciate colorful things and high strangeness, have a sense of humor and are driven by curiosity and novelty.

Group get togethers will be in person (usually taking place at The Liminal Store meeting space in the Raleigh Hills neighborhood of SW Portland/Beaverton area) and will vary in topic and can/will include things like:

art/crafting/paper and fiber arts (making cards, embroidery, mending clothing, coloring etc)

discussions about cooking and baking (sharing recipes etc)

watching weird movies (Esp but not limited to horror movies)

playing board games/card games/jackbox games/doing puzzles

discussions about gardening (growing plants and vegetables/carnivorous plants/sharing seeds or plant starts)

spooky stuff (things halloween related/tarot card readings)

DIY (learning and teaching new DIY skills)

Do you have fun and interesting knowledge or skills to share with others? Do you love to learn? Or do you just want to watch a movie you’ve never heard of and color with people who don’t think you’re strange for doing so? JOIN US.

This is a child free group (all events will be childfree unless otherwise stated). There is no set schedule for events. Members can help choose topics for upcoming events. No membership dues required but a small fee may be charged for certain types of events and will be clearly stated when posted. Donations going towards the upkeep of the meeting space are appreciated.

No bullying or discrimination allowed. No shoes, no shirt, no service.
