This is a community gathering celebrating the love of books, reading literacy, and local community organizations and small local businesses.

The Lit Bae Bookshop:
Kirwin (They/Them) is the owner of The Lit Bae Bookshop, a pop-up bookshop based in Richmond, VA. The pop-up bookshop started as a hobby and then evolved into a joyful passion project after being laid off in 2024. Their favorite genre is non-fiction about history, sociology, eroticism, gender, and anti-racism.
Kirwin is also a sound healer, dance teacher, creative movement facilitator, artist, and future yoga instructor and future death doula.

The Exit Plan:
Hi! I'm Jace! I'm a queer, trans, and Mexican creative using matcha as both my craft and way out. After years in cafe management I started The Exit Plan, a matcha cart based in Richmond, VA, as a personal fund raiser to leave the U.S. and eventually build a life and cafe elsewhere. Every drink I make is part of that vision of autonomy, resistance, and joy. You can follow my journey @findyourexitplan
Stardust Bakery:
Chef-owner Amy Roberts is a certified pastry chef and is ServSafe Manager-certified. She has decades of experience creating tasty baked goods for customers, including friends, family, co-workers, friends of friends, and the occasional pet.

New River Abortion Access Fund:
Based in New River Valley area of Virginia, the New River Abortion Access Fund (NRAAF) is a 501(c)(3) reproductive justice aligned organization working to eliminate economic barriers to abortion access. NRAAF operates a volunteer-run helpline that provides direct financial support to those seeking abortion care in Southwest Virginia.

Read RVA:
Read RVA is a Richmond- based nonprofit dedicated to changing lives through adult literacy. FormerlyThe Read Center, the organization has been serving the region since 1982, offering free classroom instruction, one-on-one tutoring, and digital literacy support to adults who read below and eighth grade level. With a focus on dignity, equity, and empowerment, READ RVA learners build the skills they need for employment, community engagement, and personal growth because everyone deserves the opportunity to live a literate life.
