LoCol Movie Club: Groundhog Day

Lets start a movie club!

I've hosted many movie nights over the years. The problem and primary stressor I've had was being the sole curator. So the movies selection was just a reflection of my own tastes. That gets old for everyone pretty quick.

This time I'm hoping to form a more collaborative club, where we take turns selecting the movie, group structure, and overall direction.

With February around the corner, it seems appropriate to start with the 1993 Bill Murray classic, Groundhog Day. We'll figure out the selection process for future movies at this event.

What to expect:

• If you've never been to The Local Collective, it's primarily and coworking space/creative hub during regular business hours.
• It's located in a house on Main St. across from Weaverville Primary
• The regular business day ends at 5 and a few of us will be hanging out here until the event starts.
• Popcorn and snacks will be available. Feel free to bring your own food as well.
• We will hang out in the main space until about 6:15 before heading to the screening room in the basement.
• If you arrive late, just walk down the driveway (it will be well-lit) and meet us in the screening room/basement.
