The Local Flock Birding Social Club is a gathering place for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors looking for birds, whether you have been an avid birder for years or just recently picked up your first pair of binoculars. We started this group because we wanted a relaxed, low-pressure way to connect with other local enthusiasts. There are no experts here—just neighbors walking through the park together, sharing sightings, and helping each other identify the feathered visitors in our own backyard.
Our meetups are simple and straightforward. We pick a local trail or park, meet at the trailhead, and spend a couple of hours walking at a comfortable pace. It is less about building a life list and more about enjoying the company of others who appreciate the quiet excitement of spotting a new bird.
