About us
The Local Stand Up Comedy Collective is a space for anyone in the area with an interest in stand-up comedy, whether you are a performer looking to sharpen your material or a fan who just wants to see more live sets. Our goal is to build a supportive community where we can share resources, discuss the craft, and help each other get more stage time. It is a low-pressure environment focused on meeting fellow local comedians and building connections within our own scene.
We hold regular meetups to talk shop, host open mics, and organize trips to see shows at local venues. You do not need to be a seasoned veteran to join us; if you have ever thought about trying your hand at a set or you just enjoy the process of writing and performing, you will fit right in. We are all about learning from one another, sharing tips, and making sure there are plenty of opportunities for everyone to get on the mic. We hope to see you at the next one.
