Welcome to The London (Advanced Spoken) Arabic Club!
This group is dedicated to exploring the Arabic language through discussions, book clubs, film screenings, and music events.
Whether you're an advanced or fluent speaker, this group is here for all of us who wish to improve our language skills and immerse ourselves in Middle Eastern culture.
Join us for language exchange, and to connect with others who share an interest in Arabic study, languages, and cultures.
The only requirements are that:
- You speak advanced Arabic or higher
- You are willing to refrain from speaking English in the group unless it is to ask a question about the Arabic language that you cannot articulate in Arabic
Strictly no racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, ableism or any other unpleasant behaviour that I may not have anticipated!
(I speak a mish-mash of Palestinian and Saudi dialect, but would love to try to familiarise myself with dialects from other countries!)
