“Stop Arguing With Reality" — The Path to Peace is Ending Resistance
Details
In “Stop Arguing With Reality — The Path to Peace is Ending Resistance,” we'll explore Eckhart Tolle’s idea that much of our suffering comes not from events, but from the mind’s resistance to them—through complaint, worry, denial, and the thought, “This shouldn’t be happening.” Accepting the present moment isn’t weakness or resignation; it’s a shift from unconscious reaction to clear, grounded response. By noticing resistance as it arises, returning attention to the body and breath, and disengaging from compulsive thinking, we loosen the grip of emotional reactivity and the “pain-body.” Peace becomes available not when life is perfect, but when we stop fighting what already is and meet reality with awareness.
Join us on March 8th as we explore, with the aid of teachings from Eckhart Tolle and others, how the path to peace is by ending resistance.
