Hallo Everyone!
I am happy to announce our next Meetup event!
We will meet at the Finch’s the 18th of June, so more or less in two weeks.
We have a nice agenda for the night.
I am very happy to welcome Sébastien Giraud, a MariaDB Solution Engineer and consultant with an amazing background as an Architect Devops, DBA, System expert and more... He will share with us an interesting part of his experience in his presentation:
"How MariaDB MaxScale helped me to obtain HA services for a major website in France"
A brief story about using MariaDB with MaxScale day by day. We will discuss on how it’s possible to update a cluster without (almost) any impact and talk about transparent failover and monitoring.
Our well known Meetup member, Richard Bensley, will then enlighten us with his talk:
"Why NoSQL?"
A brief demo and open discussion about what is probably the most common reason, anyone chooses a NoSQL, Key-Value store, or a Document database over an RDBMS.
We will meet around 18:30 at The Finch.
