**The British Wildlife Centre** has the finest collection of native wildlife in Britain with over 40 different species from tiny harvest mice to magnificent red deer. It provides an ideal location for learning the basics of photographing creatures both great and small. The aim is for everyone to leave with some shots they are happy with.

**WILDLIFE TO PHOTOGRAPH**: We can try to photograph the following: **Red Squirrels, Foxes, Wild Cats, Otters, Red Deer, Hedgehogs, Mice, Deer, Pine Martens and Owls**. We will also look at composition and technical settings.

**EQUIPMENT**: Please do not buy any new equipment for this. You are advised to bring whatever equipment you currently have as you will learn about anything else you may need during the workshop.

Camera - Most cameras will be alright for this except the small point and shoots. However it is important to bring a lens that can capture the animals at a reasonable size.

Lenses - We will work with whichever lens you bring to get the best results. For the animals that we can get close to (which are most of them) a lens with anything in the 50-100mm range will be fine, but for framing wildlife at a distance a lens that reaches to 300mm or more would be an advantage. Tripods - may be used outside. A monopod or beanbag rest may be preferred.

**TRAVEL**
Train to East Grinstead station then a 9 mins taxi journey to The British Wildlife Centre. Previously we coordinated beforehand and shared a taxi. Please advise if this is of interest when you rsvp.
